Hello everyone,my name is Simran and I am a watercolor and a gouache artist based in Pune, India. 

Welcome to my class! In this class we will learn and master the skills of painting gouache waterscapes. Many students had requested me to put a class on gouache, so here it is. The class will be for 10 days and I will put a new class project everyday.

In this class i will take you through 10 days of watercolor exercises filled with relaxing and calming landscapes..

This class not only helps in learning different subjects but also helps in building a fulfilling creative habit which we all know is essential to destress..

We will begin by discussing important art materials, i will explain all about my supplies that i prefer and why..and then we will paint a class project each day for the next 10 days starting today..

Hello! I’m so happy to be here with you today for this course, as we will delve a little bit into self-care with a fun and creative doodle craft project.

What is self-care you may ask. I know I have wondered that myself, more recently in the last years because I’ve realized that I need to pay attention to it.

For me today, self-care is taking time to take care of myself, whether it be physical or mental, or emotional. There is the creative side, the spiritual side, the practical side... I realize it’s such a vast topic, and there are so many sides, ins and outs about it. So if you’re here cause you want to learn more about self-care, well, we’re on this journey together, cause I feel I’m constantly learning and growing and realizing and noticing more and more what it means for me, as well as trying things out, practicing, building habits or routines for my self-care and all that.

In this class, I'm walking you through 10 different zendoodle designs that I have previously drawn in my Sketchbook during the month of April 2020.

It is my intention to offer a space of organic, no pressure, creative expression for everyone who would like to take a mental break from everything that is going on, whether you have 5 minutes or 50.

I've been in your shoes, and still have those feelings from time to time. But when I discovered how to practice self-care through mindfulness, I was able to free myself from those feelings.

In this class, I want to take you on your own mindfulness journey, and use watercolor as the medium. We will do that by harnessing peace through breathing exercises. Confronting the negative thoughts you have as an artist. Setting goals and dreams for yourself. And creating a motivational card that will continue to inspire you to practice mindfulness everyday.

In this class we will be making a digital sketchbook in Procreate on the theme of butterflies, bugs and beasties. Eek!

It’s a great way to relax, have fun and explore different ways of using Procreate with ten daily bite sized projects to inspire and enjoy.

We will be taking a close look at bugs and at the same time we will be trying out plenty of Procreate features.
